FAQs

All the items’ sizes are show on each individual product.

Please make sure that you select the correct size… beg a friend for a tape measure and prevent disappointment!


*We work on these standard SKOONMA measurements when we create our garments.


*Please also check at every item’s description whether it is a regularor a slim fit. Regular fits are your looser fitting items with more leeway in the garment and that fits most body types, where your slim fits are the tighter more precise fitted garments where you really need to check your measurements.


* We have a return and exchange policy of 7 days after receiving your item(s). If you notify us that you would like to return the item in this time frame we will gladly exchange your item for a different size if we have it in stock. If not, you have an option of either a SKOONMA online credit or a refund.

A Refund or exchange is also only granted after we have received the item(s) back, inspected and cleared it for any damages or wear and tear that is not as a result from SKOONMA’S manufacturing. The courier costs for return will unfortunately be lost. We help you by giving the correct measurements for you to order the size most suitable to you. In the event that the fault lies on SKOONMA’S side, these costs will not be lost.

A Return or exchange can be lodged by emailing exchange@skoonma.com within the 7-day period after your parcel has been delivered by Aramex and signed for by you or the person receiving on your behalf.

 

On the website, browse around and choose the product you want to purchase and click on it.

Choose your size & colour (if applicable)

Choose your quantity (if applicable)

Click on ADD TO CART.

When you’re finished with your shopping, click on the VIEW CART or the CHECKOUT button in the menu.

Complete all the details so we know where to send your order.

Payfast is the safest, and quickest, form of payment (very safe), but they’re a 3rd party and have their own process, so simply follow them and everything will be perfect.

When everything is complete, click on the PLACE ORDER button.

When you’ve completed the payment, you’ll see a message that says:

Thank you. Your order has been received.

You are finished. Well done!

Your order will be on its way soon!

Our delivery time is around 14 working days, depending on your location.

Your item is hand made by one of our amazing seamstresses.

All Thread orders take 8-10 working days to complete.

When your item is finished, it gets packaged and sent to you via our partners, Aramex!

You’ll receive a tracking number by e-mail so you’ll be able to see where your order is. This tracking number has to be completed on ARAMEX’s website … not on Skoonma’s Website. [if you don’t receive any orders from the date of your order, have a look in your junk/spam folder]

If you’re not in a large(ish) city, your order might take a bit longer to reach you…but hang in there…it will get to you.

We do our utmost best to ensure all our measurements on Skoonma is 100% correct, and it is up to you to ensure you measure yourself 🙂

If, for some reason, the item you ordered doesn’t fit, please contact us on info@skoonma.com within 7 days of receipt of your order.

As soon as you mail us, we’ll arrange a pickup for the item that doesn’t fit.. and as soon as we receive your item and it not damaged, we’ll send you a voucher for the value of your item.

Please ensure that your item you are returning is clean (doesn’t smell like sweat of full of make-up) and neatly packaged.

Because of the limited stock, we do not do a physical exchange. (We, unfortunately, don’t do any refunds).

The free delivery is only valid for ONE pickup & delivery; Skoonma charges a fee of R100 for any extra pickups & delivery.

Exchanges are also not done on any sale or Thrift items.

Every now and again, certain items don’t fit 100% to everyone’s liking.

It might be that your build differs from the design of that particular item.

We, therefore, offer alterations on all Skoonma Thread items for a fee of R200.

If you want to alter your item, simply let us know on alterations@skoonma.com and we’ll guide you through the process.

*take note that alterations can ONLY be done when an item needs to be made smaller.
