Skoonma Clothing was founded by Leandie Du Randt in January 2017. Leandie is a well-known South African actress, author and motivational speaker. She started the company with her then mother-in-law, hence the name SKOONMA! The business immediately proved to be very successful. Skoonma rapidly became well-known for the unique vintage inspired items with a glamorous touch. Leandie had such a full schedule that she could no longer give her full attention to Skoonma. She sold Skoonma to a Cape Town based team who has continued to build the brand to become one of the most well know local clothing brands. Skoonma is currently managed by Rika Venter who has an absolute passion for fashion! Rika loves EVERYTHING about Skoonma, but her biggest joy is seeing clients wearing locally made exclusive Skoonma garments.

about our ranges...
Skoonma Clothing has several ranges available to meet the needs of all our clients. Our main range is the EXCLUSIVE RANGE which is designed, sourced and manufactured locally. This range will generally be slightly more expensive as the cost to manufacture locally has increased tremendously over the past couple of years. We do however offer unique items in this range that you will only find on Skoonma.com. All these items are made in Cape Town by our own CMT team and each pattern has also been exclusively designed by Skoonma. This range is our pride and joy and we are really excited about all the new items currently in production!
Our next range is the IMPORTED RANGE which consists of items sourced from all over the world (including SA) by our qualified fashion experts. In this range, we support other shops and brands by handpicking items that are highly fashionable and trendy at the moment. We make sure that you can find the most beautiful and stylish items locally without taking the risk of ordering goods from abroad.
Our new range which we are currently developing is our CURVES BY SKOONMA RANGE. This is a range that is very close to our hearts and we want to make sure we bring the most beautiful items to our clients in sizes a little bigger than the standard S/M/L. This range will consist of both locally made as well as imported garments.
Our ACCESSORIES BY SKOONMA RANGE is a collection of fashionable extras to add to your Skoonma outfit. This includes jewellery, hair accessories, leather products, scarves, shoes etc. These items are both locally made as well as imported from countries all over the world. We have partnered with one of the biggest gemstone suppliers in the country to bring exclusive jewellery designs and gemstones to you at a fraction of the market-related price! Our first jewellery range will be released in mid-2022. The gemstones used in our jewellery include moissanite, diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds. We will not be making bulk designs, each design will be limited and will be available exclusively on Skoonma.com.
